Why we publish this.

When you look at Rediworks, you're usually choosing between two other ways of finding urgent care shifts: a traditional locums agency, or a job board with no credentialing layer. The columns below set the three side by side.

We don't name specific agencies or job boards. The rows describe how each model generally works, not any one company. If your experience is different, that's fair.

Side by side.

What this comparison is and isn't.

It isn't an argument that you should never use a traditional agency or a job board. If you want someone else to arrange travel and housing, or to negotiate for you, an agency with a recruiter is the better fit. Nothing stops you from using more than one model.

It is an argument that the Rediworks model is different where it counts when you're picking up urgent care shifts: you sign yourself up, the rate is on the listing, and no recruiter sits between you and the shift.
