Some state privacy laws, including California's, give people the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. This page explains what we do today and how to make a request.

California law gives its residents the right to tell a business not to sell their personal information and not to share it for advertising that follows them across other sites. Some other states have similar laws.
You can make a request whether or not you have a Rediworks account. You do not need to give a reason.
What selling and sharing mean.
Under these laws, selling can mean more than trading information for money. It can include giving personal information to another company in return for something of value. Sharing means giving personal information to another company so it can target advertising to you based on what you do on other sites.
What Rediworks does today.
This is what we can confirm from how the website and platform are built.
We do not sell personal information for money
Rediworks does not sell clinician or operator personal information for money. The Privacy Policy says the same.
No advertising pixels or data brokers in our code
Our website and platform code does not include advertising pixels from social networks, and it has no connection to data brokers.
The website loads Google Tag Manager
Our marketing website loads Google Tag Manager, which can load Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. The platform you sign in to does not load analytics or advertising tags.
Browser privacy signals
Our website and platform do not currently respond to Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals. To opt out, email us as described below.
What an opt-out does not stop.
Running the service means some information has to go to other parties. When you apply for or pick up a shift, the facility sees the profile and credential information it needs. We also use service providers for things like bank payouts, background checks, credential verification, email, and text messages.
Those disclosures are how the platform works. They are described in the Privacy Policy and continue after an opt-out request.
How to make a request.
Email [email protected] with the subject line Do Not Sell or Share. Tell us your name and the email address you use with Rediworks, if you have an account.
You can use the same address to ask about other privacy rights described in the Privacy Policy, such as access, correction, or deletion.
Confirming it is you.
We may need to confirm that a request comes from you before we act on it. If we do, we will ask only for what we need to do that.
Someone you authorize can make a request for you. We may ask for proof that you gave them permission.
